Fred Allard
Fred Allard, an iconoclastic and timeless Nice sculptor artist from Nice. He is a new actor on the international contemporary art scene. Creator of a fashion laboratory for several years, he preserves an imprint, a culture, an enthusiasm, which he uses as a basis for reflection on his work as an artist. His “Sopping Bag” marks his signature and draws attention to the unique identity of each work, made by the artist: a wave of poetic and charismatic elegance impossible to duplicate. His sculptures freeze the codes of the street and luxury, which must be compared and opposed, found and assembled, to ultimately form a single entity. Crystallized by hand in a translucent material with bright and vivid colors, these representative symbols of our society seem to be in his works, having to live together for the rest of eternity. The expressive gesture contaminated with the punk aesthetic of Fred Allard is the allegorical interpretation of a perpetual search for balance between container and content, between surface and depth, between external and internal appearance, thus penetrating the territory of the intimate.
